Captain Ron Rusch Fishing Report

Walleye and Catfish 22 June 2002

Fished the area from Walnut Creek to Elk Creek 35 to 41 feet. There are some nice large walleye in the area. This 10.25 pound 30 inch gave quite a battle.
Caught on a crawler harness. Adding to more smaller walleye and many jumbo yellow perch caught on Sunday.

Also to give the thrill of the catch was a large catfish. 29 inch 10+ pounds.

This is a good time to night fish for the cats in the first hole on Elk Creek. Some huge cats come in thru the 4th .

The walleye action will continue to get better. With the best time July and most of August.
