| Lake Erie Smallmouth Bass Fishing - Good smallmouth fishing May to mid July and also in the Fall.. Lots of action packed Lake Erie drift fishing fun. Prior to the opening of Bass Fishing Season in June, we now have a one fish Lake Erie Bass Trophy Fishing Season on PA waters.. May thru mid June is the best time to smallmouth bass fish for that wall Trophy.. Many smallmouth bass are caught at this time. After bass season opens in mid June the catching of these hard fighting "bronzebacks" continues until mid July. The small mouth bass fishing picks back up in the fall as the small mouth bass return to the shallow waters. |
